Diablo 3 Live

Signed up last year for the WoW Annual Pass with this I got a free copy of Diablo 3, a free mount (which personally after seeing it in-game looks crap (my Bronze Drake would kick its ass)) and Beta access to the new WoW expansion Mists of Pandaria. I had already downloaded the installer for Diablo weeks ago, to which then John must’ve moved it to my sharing files rather than copying and I proceeded to deleting it without realising that was my only copy. So went looking for it last night and it was gone so to my dismay I had to re-download the bloody thing all over again. Being the smart person I am I kept cancelling the download before it had finished (thinking it finished, as it said finished) only to realise one of the files to install the bloody thing wasn’t complete, leading me to re-download about 3 times before I realised it will start the bloody installer when its done anyway. Anyway I gave up last night even trying when I had to go and pick John up at about midnight. So I’ve had to re-download yet again this morning:

By the end of this post it had finally finished and opened the installer! Hoorah!

The last year + 4 months

As you can see I’ve moved from Alysira.com to a nice new domain Illuminary.nu (always wanted a .nu domain). Second big change is my host, I have moved from Dreamhost, who have been my host for years now (since 2005) to a reseller account at Scala Hosting, they have nice reseller prices and look reliable enough not to give me shitty service like Firsthosting did for that horrible year. So at the moment I am on the lowest price reseller which is suitable for what I want to host anyway and only cost me £26 for the first year (plus I’m saving an extra £30 a year compared to Dreamhost). With my wish to get a mortgage with John soon with the wedding coming up I want to save as much as possible without giving up what I love doing.

Obviously got a temporary theme to keep me going till I can make something worth looking at. But at the moment I like this one, and it will do till I’ve finished working on various projects for other people.
So what have I been doing for the last year and 4 months:

  • Making and deleting various themes for Alysira.
  • Planning a wedding for the end of June.
  • Work and finding a new job that isn’t in a supermarket or retail related (Office please!).
  • World of Warcraft.
  • Spending time with John.
  • Working on Inspired Photography for Bridget (who will be doing my wedding photos).
  • Attempting to lose some weight through workouts and Zumba classes (my diet sucks though so it’s not helping).

I think that’s about it, Warcraft being the main culprit of my time-consuming. Although my wedding planning will probably take precedence over anything else recently with the passing of my Mum who was pretty much doing everything for me. Had the last 2 weeks off dealing with it and the funeral was yesterday afternoon. Still undecided on whether to go back to work next week or not, since keeping my mind occupied is easier at home than it is at work.

Plans for the future:

  • Finish wedding planning and get married!
  • Change Jobs.
  • Work towards the AAT Qualification.
  • Finish my bloody website.
  • Lose 1st and tone up!
  • Finish outstanding projects.
  • Play some Warcraft!
  • Save and get a mortgage.
  • Have Babies!

Lots to do so I better get my ass in gear and start on something.
